A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO AN EXISTING
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE
USE OF 1974 STATE BOND GRANT FUNDS IN THE DEVELOP-
MENT OF DOLPHIN PARK -- PROJECT NUMBER 19-0094.
WHEREAS, the City of Carson and the State of California
entered into an agreement dated November 10, 1975 for grant
money pursuant to the State Beach, Park, Recreational, and
Historical Bond Act of 1974, and
WHEREAS, the City of Carson is desirous of extending
the completion date of the project entitled Dolphin Park from
June 30, 1978 to June 30, 1980; and
WHEREAS, it is considered to be to the mutual benefit
of the State and the Applicant to extend said completion date.
hereby: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
Section 1. That the proposed amendment between the
City and t—die State of California be approved.
Section 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the amendment approved as to
form by the City Attorney.
