Section 2. Such execution by '_he City of Carson
shall be in the City's proprietary capacity as owner of the
leased premises and neither such s�ibsurface oil and gas lease
or this Resolution shall constitute an approval, permit or
authority under the police power of the City with respect to
the lessee's proposed oil and gas operations under said lease.
Any such approval, permit or authority as the lessee may require
shall be applied for by the lessee pursuant to the provisions of
the Carson Municipal Code.

Resolves
as Follows-
Section 1. That certain subsurface oil and gas
lease between
tl:e City of Carson and Arao Petroleum Corporation
relating
to approximately 1.91 acres constituting portions
of Lanita
Boulevard more particularly described in said lease,
is hereby
approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute the
same for
and in behalf of the City of Carson.
Section 2. Such execution by '_he City of Carson
