A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN,
RESOLUTION 77-111
The City Council of the City of Carson hereby
finds, orders and determines as follows:
' Section 1. The Director of Personnel is authorized
and directed under provisions of Section 2902 of the Carson
Municipal Code to prepare a position classification plan,
including class specifications, and amendments and revisions
of the plan.
Section 2. Amendments and revisions of said Class-
ification Plan are to be made by adoption of resolutions
following public posting of notice of proposed action to
modify the Classification Plan.
Section 3. Resolution 78-124 revises the Class-
ification Plan and includes a class specification for
Community Development Manager.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed amendment to
the Classification Plan has been publicly posted at least
five (5) days prior to adoption of this Resolution.
Section 5. The Classification Plan shall be amended
by adding the attached class specification for Community
Development Manager and deleting the class specification
for Community Development Manager approved in Resolution
78-124.

I, Helen Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson,
California, do hereby certify that the whole number of members
of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 78-171 was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting
of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 6th day of
September, 1978, and that the same was so passed and adopted
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Bridgers, Marbut, Calas and Yamamoto
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
