A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN ENGINEERING SCIENCE,
INC., AND THE CITY OF CARSON.
' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson hereby finds,
orders, and resolves as follows:

Section 1. That the City of Carson desires the services of
Engineering -Science, Inc., for consulting services regarding landfill gas pro-
duction, gas migration, gas control, subsidence, odors, other environmental
hazards and building design and construction in connection with Conditional
Use Permit No. 177-78 issued to Ford Leasing Development Company; and,
Section 2. That Engineering -Science, Inc. agrees to serve as
the consultant for said services; and,
Section 3. That mutually satisfactory terms have been arrived
at by the City and Engineering -Science, Inc. , and stated in contract form; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Carson are hereby authorized to execute said contract in
behalf of the City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 19day of September, 1978.

do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said
City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 78-190, was
dully and regularly held on the 19th day of September, 1978, and that the same
was so passed and adopted by the following roll call vote;
