A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE REAPPROPRIATION OF HOME FUNDS FOR OUTSTANDING
OBLIGATIONS AT FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2015
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2014, the City Council approved the commitment of
$770,263 of HOME CHDO funds to Partnership Housing to be used for the
development of four HOME eligible owner - occupied housing units at 3303 Magnolia
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, final invoices for project were not received prior to closing of the
accounting records for FY 2014 -2015; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood adopted the FY 2015 -2016 annual operating
budget in July 2015; and
WHEREAS, the FY 2015 -2016 Operating Budget does not include appropriations
for outstanding encumbrances for the prior fiscal year as shown in the reports attached
hereto as Exhibits "A" and "B "; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reappropriate funds to cover disbursements for
outstanding obligations for fiscal year ending June 30, 2015; and
WHEREAS, staff is requesting to appropriate $110,000 of the unused HOME
CHDO funds from account 2961.75.865.62015 to cover said outstanding obligations.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the appropriation of $110,000 in
HOME Funds to cover the outstanding obligation related to the Agreement with
Partnership Housing for the development of 4 units at 3303 Magnolia Avenue.
Section 2. That the City Manager or designee is authorized and the Finance
Director is directed to make the following fund appropriations:

2961.75.865.62015 (FY 2015 -2016)
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
