' RESOLUTION NO. 78-194
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AMENDED AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES REGARDING TITLE II OF THE COMPRE-
HENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT.
The City Council of the City of Carson hereby
resolves as follows:
Section 1. The City of Carson and the County of
Los Angeles have entered into an Agreement pursuant to
Public Law 93-203, The Comprehensive Employment and Training
Act of 1973 as amended, hereinafter referred to as the CETA
II Agreement.
Section 2. The City of Carson desires to extend
the term of the CETA II Agreement from September 30, 1978
until December 31, 1978.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute the Amendment of CETA Title II Contract
No. (Emergency Jobs Program Extension Act), approved
as to form by the City Attorney, extending the term of the
CETA II Agreement to December 31, 1978 and amending the CETA
II Agreement in other necessary particulars.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 25th day of
September, 1978.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 78-194 was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly
and regularly held on the 25th day of September, 1978, and that the same was so
