Mayor Buelterman called the regular agenda to order at 10:00AM, June 23, 2015. Those present were Paul Wolff, Monty Parks, Rob Callahan, Wanda Doyle,
Barry Brown and Bill Garbett. Also attending were Diane Schleicher, City Manager; Angela Hudson, Finance Director; and Janet LeViner, Clerk of Council.
Consideration of Bids, Contracts,
Agreements and Expenditures
Budget Amendment: Amend the general fund operating budget by resolution to increase the revenues and expenses by $20,000 and accept a grant award from the
Department of Economic Development for the Tybee Post Theater. Wanda Doyle made a motion to approve and to extend the MOU from June 1, 2015 until June 30, 2015. Paul Wolff seconded.
Vote was unanimous, 6-0.
Request to amend the fiscal year 2014-15 general fund operating and capital budget from $10,922,308 to $10,092,218 by resolution. Bill Garbett made a motion
to approve. Monty Parks seconded. Vote was unanimous, 6-0.
Confiscated Asset Fund 210: from $0.00 to $1,459. Wanda Doyle made a motion to approve. Rob Callahan seconded. Vote was
unanimous, 6-0.
Emergency 911 Telephone Fund 215: from $91,833 to $137,677. Paul Wolff made a motion to approve. Monty Parks seconded. Vote was unanimous, 6-0.
Hotel-Motel Excise
Tax Fund 275: from $2,270,530 to $2,815,580. Paul Wolff made a motion to approve. Wanda Doyle seconded. Vote was unanimous, 6-0.
Move $5,200 from contingency to Department of Public
Works, Change Order for Greenline Architecture. Paul Wolff made a motion to approve. Wanda Doyle seconded. Vote was unanimous, 6-0.
Public Hearings
Second Reading, 2015-16, FY
2015-16 Budget. Monty Parks made a motion to approve the second reading of the budget as amended by $64,360. Rob Callahan seconded. Voting in favor were Paul Wolff, Monty Parks, Rob
Callahan, Wanda Doyle and Bill Garbett. Voting against was Barry Brown. Motion carried 5-1.
Paul Wolff made a motion to adjourn. Rob Callahan seconded. Vote was unanimous, 6-0.
