A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE USE OF BATEMAN HALL'S ROOM #1 AND WAIVING THE RENTAL FEES IN
THE AMOUNT OF $560
WHEREAS, a request was made by the Office of Senator Ricardo Lara to host a
series of community business workshops at Bateman Hall's Room #1; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the events is to give Lynwood and Senate District
#33 small business owners key information on small business operations
considerations; and
WHEREAS, the events will take place on September 9 & 23 and October 14 &
28, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the use of City facilities and the waiver
of rental fees in the amount of $560.
Section 2. The City Council further finds that the request serves the important
public purpose of educating Lynwood residents and business owners, community -wide.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of September, 2015.
