RESOLUTION NO. 78-206
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEPIENT
WHEREAS, the Carson Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency")
proposes to enter into an Amendment to the Land Disposition and
Development Agreement dated September 7, 1978 with Carson Venture
for the sale of those certain parcels of real property more
particularly described in said Amendment, attached hereto as
Exhibit A and by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the Agency and the City Council of the City
of Carson, pursuant to notice duly given, have held a full and
fair joint public hearing on said Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Agency and City Council have made available
for public inspection and copying at the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Carson, a copy of said Amendment and a summary
thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds and deter-
mines that tFe consideration to be paid by Carson Venture in
accordance with covenants and conditions of said Amendment is
not less than the estimated fair market value of the parcels
conveyed.
Section 2. The City Council hereby finds and deter-
mines that t e perTormance of said Amendment is necessary to
effectuate the purposes of the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelop-
ment Project Area No. 2.
Section 3. The City Council hereby approves said
Amendment.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said
City is five; that the foregoing resolution being Resolution No. 78-206, was

of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 6th day of November, 1978, and
that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
