RESOLUTION NO. 2000-64
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
REQUESTING THE NEVADA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
ALLOCATE ADDITIONAL LOCAL TRANSPORTATION FUNDS
FOR THE OPERATION OF THE TRUCKEE TRANSIT SYSTEM
WHEREAS, Local Transportation Funds are allocated to the Nevada County Transportation
Commission for the Town of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee has designed a system that will most effectively serve the
residents of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, the estimated State Transportation Funds were less than expected.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TRUCKEE that the Town requests an additional $1,061 of Local Transportation Funds from the
Nevada County Transportation Commission.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Truckee, held on the 7th day of December, 2000 by Councilmember Drake who moved its adoption,
which motion being duly seconded by Councilmember Florian was upon roll call carried and the
Resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Drake, Florian, Schneider, Susman & Mayor McCormack
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
