A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON REQUESTING THE COMPTON MUNICIPAL COURT
TO ADOPT A BAIL SCHEDULE FOR VIOLATIONS OF VAR-
IOUS CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE SECTIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY FINDS, DETERMINES,
AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 5C, Section 853.6 of the California Penal Code,
grants municipalities the authority that allows certain employees to cite violations
of the municipal code.
Section 2. The City's Community Service and Code Enforcement Of-
ficers have successfully completed the required Commission on Peace Officer's
Standards and Training (POST) courses in accordance with Section 832 of the
Penal Code.
Section 3. The City Council recognizes and recommends to the Court
that violations of certain Sections of the Carson Municipal Code should be treated
as infractions in order to ensure compliance and improve the administration of
justice.
Section 4. The following Sections and Recommended Bail for vio-
lations are as follows:
ARTICLE IV - PUBLIC PEACE
' 4101(f) - Noises by Animals
ARTICLE V - SANITATION AND HEALTH
5316 - Affixing Signs on Utility Poles
BAIL SCHEDULE
Section 4101(f) - Not to Exceed $15.00
Section 5316 - Not to Exceed $100.00
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1978.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Louncil of said City
is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 78-221, was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 6th day of November, 1978, and that the
same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
