A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON ESTABLISHING A TABLE OF
ORGANIZATION FOR GRANT FUNDED POSITIONS FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR 1978-79 AND REPEALING ALL
PREVIOUS SUCH RESOLUTIONS INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO RESOLUTIONS 75-123, 77-137, 77-227,
AND 78-097.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Director of Personnel is authorized and
directed under provisions of Section 2902 of the Carson Municipal Code
to prepare a Plan of Compensation covering all classes of positions
in the Competitive Service.
Section 2. Grant funded positions are classes of
positions in the Competitive Service.
Section 3. The continuation of Grant funded positions
shall be contingent upon that continuation of Grant funding.
Section 4. The Table of Organization assigns classes
of positions in the Competitive Service to pay ranges established
in the Plan of Compensation. Establishment of said Table of
Organization requires adoption of a resolution following public
posting of notice of the proposed action to establish the Table
of Organization for Grant funded positions.
Section 5. Notice of the proposed establishment of
'the Table of Organization for Grant funded positions has been publicly
posted at least five (5) days prior to the adoption of the Resolution.
Section 6. All previous such resolutions including
but not limited to Resolutions 75-123,-7 -137,77-227 and 78-097 shall
be repealed.
Section 7. The Table of aanization for Grant funded
