A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON ESTABLISHING A TABLE OF ORGANIZATION
FOR COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT
(CETA), TITLE II AND TITLE VI FUNDED POSITIONS
FOR THE PERIOD OCTOBER 1, 1978 TO DECEMBER 31, 1978.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Director of Personnel is authorized and
directed under provisions of Section 2902 of the Carson Municipal
Code to prepare a Plan of Compensation covering all classes of positions
in the Competitive Service.
Section 2. CETA Title II and Title VI funded positions
are classes of positions in the Competitive Service.
Section 3. The continuation of CETA Title II and Title VI
funded positions shall be contingent upon the continuation of CETA
funding.
Section 4. The Table of Organization assigns classes
of positions in the Competitive Service to pay ranges established
in the Plan of Compensation. Establishment of said Table of Organization
requires adoption of a Resolution following public posting of notice
of the proposed action to establish the Table of Organization for
CETA positions.
Section 5. Notice of the proposed establishment of
the Table of Organization for CETA Title II and CETA Title VI positions
has been publicly posted at least five (5) days prior to the adoption
of the Resolution.
'Section 6. The Table of Organization for CETA Title II
and Title VI positions shall be established as follows:
