A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON DELINEATING CERTAIN LOCATIONS FOR THE
INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF PIPELINES OR OTHER
FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH A FRANCHISE
GRANTED TO MAC MILLAN RING -FREE OIL COMPANY
' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY FINDS, RESOLVES,
AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Mac Millan Ring -Free Oil Company was
granted anoif p p line franchise by Ordinance 78-454.
Section 2. Said Ordinance provides that the franchisee
may only install -or operate pipelines or other facilities in
those certain streets, highways, roads, alleys and other pub-
lic places dedicated to public use within the City of Carson as
may be approved from time to time by a Resolution of the City
Council of the City of Carson.
Section 3. The City Council finds that the public
interest would Ee served by limiting installation or operation
of pipelines or other facilities to those certain streets, high-
ways, roads, alleys and other public places dedicated to public
use shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and described
as follows:
Ten inch line beginning at the intersection of the
centerline of Alameda Street, 50 feet wide as shown
on map of Tract No. 7229 in Book 168, pages 23 and
24, of maps in the office of the Recorder of the
' County of Los Angeles, with the centerline of Sepul-
veda Boulevard, shown as Long Beach and Redondo Road,
50 feet wide, on said map of Tract No. 7229; thence
easterly along said centerline of Sepulveda Boulevard
a distance of 1135.50 feet; thence northerly at right
angles from said last mentioned centerline, 35 feet
to a point in a line parallel with and 10 feet north-
erly, measured at right angles, from the northerly
line. of said Sepulveda Boulevard, said last point
being the true point of beginning; thence easterly
along said parallel line 10 feet; -thence westerly at
right angles from said last mentioned course 6.50 feet;
thence southerly at right angles from said last men-
tioned course 10 feet to said parallel line; thence
easterly thereon 3.25 feet to the true point of
beginning.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become operative on
the date that nance 78-454 becomes effective.

' hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said
City is five; that the foregoing resolution being Resolution No. 78-235, was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting
of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 6th day of November, 1978, and
that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
