RESOLUTION NO. 78 - 238
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AMENDING RESOLUTION 78-142 ESTABLISHING A
TABLE OF ORGANIZATION FOR GENERAL FUND POSITIONS
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1978 - 79.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Director of Personnel is authorized
and directed under provisions of Section 2902 of the Carson
Municipal Code to prepare a Plan of Compensation covering all
classes of positions in the Competitive Service.
Section 2. The Table of Organization assigns classes
Of positions in the Competitive Service to a pay range established
in the Plan of Compensation. Amendments of said Table of Organ-
ization are to be made by the adoption of resolutions following
public posting of notice of such proposed action to amend the
Table of Organizaton.
Section 3. Notice of the proposed amendment to the
Table of Organization has been publicly posted at least five (5)
days prior to adoption of this Resolution.
Section 4. The Table of Organization, Resolution 78-
142 is hereby amended by adding two (2) budgeted positions of
Minutes Clerk in the City Clerk's office as follows:

I, Helen Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson,
California, do hereby certify that the whole number of members
of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing
Resolution, being Resolution No. 78-238 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a
regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
21st day of November, 1978, and that the same was so passed
