ORDINANCE DESIGNATING LOUIS STREET AS
A THROUGH STREET
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, (the "Borough") has inquired of the New
Jersey Department of Transportation (the "NJDOT") as to the appropriateness of
designating Louis Street as a through street; and
WHEREAS, the NJDOT has recommended that Louis Street be so designated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-140, the streets or parts of
streets described below are hereby designated as through streets; and that stop
- signs shall be installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through
street except where yield signs are provided for in the designation.
NAME OF STREET LIMITS
Louis Street Fillmore Ave. to Washington Ave.
BE, IT FURTHER ORDAINED that upon adoption a certified copy of the
adopted Ordinance shall be submitted to the NJDOT.
