1Thereas, during its 2014 Session, the Legislature establashed an efficial
ID�310 D.Ay to be observedeach year on .March4th to commemorate the
creation ofldaho 6y Preside- nt .Abraham 1 ancoln on that fay in 1863; and-
tiVhereas, on July 3, 18,90 Preside- nt Benjamin Ylarrison signed -an act of
Congress estagfisking Idaho as a state; and
"Whereas, over the past 125 years, the State f Idaho has brought great
prime to our citizens and -nation,- and -
'Whereas, Idaho is known for its rich soft- vast andfruitfilland and -the
beauttfil mountains that are rgl%te with opportunity, strong family
values, and -an inimitabl __spirit ofinapendince andsefrelance; and -
'Whereas, Idahoan are proud- of their history and di monstrate their
continued fpirit andperseverance; and
Whereas, it is important _for allldahoans to take time to refl ct on their
roots andtheir history;
