A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY, PORTIONS
OF THE ALLEY LOCATED WEST OF MAIN STREET AND SOUTH OF
CLARION DRIVE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES AND
DETERMINES AS FOLLOWS:
' Section 1. The City Council of the City of Carson on
December 17, 1979, adopted Resolution No. 79-258 entitled "A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF THE ALLEY LOCATED WEST OF
MAIN STREET AND SOUTH OF CLARION DRIVE."
Section 2. Notices of the proposed alley vacation were duly
posted in the manner and form and at the time required by Streets
and Highways Code Section 8322.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Carson held a
public hearing thereon on January 21, 1980, at the hour of 6:30
p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 701 E. Carson Street,
Carson, California, at which time said City Council heard all
evidence offered by persons interested in the proposed vacation.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Carson does hereby
find and determine that the alley has been extended 182 feet southerly
and another alley turn -around has been constructed at the new
termination and that portions of the alley previously used for a
turn -around as shown and described on Exhibit A attached hereto and
made a part hereof is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes and said public right of way is hereby vacated.
Section 5. The City Council of the City of Carson heretofore
determined in Resolution No. 79-258 that the public convenience and
necessity require the reservation of easements and rights of way to
construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew, and enlarge
electrical utilities and other convenient structures, equipment and
fixtures for the operation of electrical utilities and incidental
purposes in said alley and hereby declares that these proceedings
are taken subject to such reservations and exceptions.
Section 6. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of
this Resolution and order to be recorded in the office of the
Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.

City is three that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 80-015
was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular
meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 21st day of January,
1980, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
