A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
ORDERING THE VACATION OF PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS
LOCATED SOUTH OF JAY STREET BETWEEN CLUFF AND EDGAR STREETS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES AND DETERMINES
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Carson, on February
19, 1980, adopted Resolution No. 80-033 entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER•EASEMENTS LOCATED SOUTH OF JAY STREET BETWEEN
CLUFF AND EDGAR STREETS AND SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON."
Section 2. Notices of the proposed easement vacation.were duly
posted in the manner and form and at the time required by Government
Code Section 50441.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Carson held a public
hearing thereon on March 24, 1980, at the hour of 6:30 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers located at 701 E. Carson Street, Carson, California,
at which time said City Council heard all evidence offered by persons
interested in the proposed vacation.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Carson does hereby
find and determine that:
1. Development plans provide that lots which would have been
served by the existing sewer line in these easements will
be served by the existing sewer line in another easement.
2. Said public sanitary sewer easements as shown and described
on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof is
unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes and
said easements are hereby vacated.
Section 5. The City Council of the City of Carson heretofore
determined that the public convenience and necessity require no
reservation of easements and rights of way within the subject public
sanitary sewer easements.
Section 6. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
Resolution and order to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the
County of Los Angeles.

do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of said City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution
No. 80-058 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said
City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on
the 24th day of March, 1980, and that the same was so passed and
adopted by the following vote:
