A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN ENGINEERING -SCIENCE,
INC. AND THE CITY OF CARSON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson hereby
finds, orders, and resolves as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Carson desires the services
of Engineering -Science, for review and monitoring services regard-
ing landfill gas production, gas migration, gas control, subsidence,
odors, other environmental hazards and building design and construct-
ion in connection with Special Use Permit No. 154-77 issued to Western
Refuse Hauling, Inc.; and,
Section Z. That Engineering Science, Inc. agrees to serve as
the consultant -Tor -said services; and,
Section 3. That mutually satisfactory terms have been arrived
at by t e City and Engineer-Science,and stated in contract form; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of
the Citv of Carson are hereby authorized to execute said contract in
behalf of the City Council.
