A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
DEDICATING AND NAMING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AS A PUBLIC
STREET TO BE KNOWN AS 221ST STREET, PROJECT NO. 352
WHEREAS, easements for public road and highway purposes have
been acquired from various property owners for the dedication and improve-
ment of the below described street under the cooperative street improve-
ment project known as Carson Project No. 352; and
WHEREAS, curb, gutter, pavement and driveway aprons have been
constructed under the improvement project; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to establish the street as a permanent
City street available for use as a public thoroughfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described real property is dedicated
for public road and highway purposes and is to be known as 221st Street:
Part A
The northerly 15 feet of easterly 504.24 feet of Lot 16, Tract No. 2982,
as shown on map recorded in Book35, page 31 of Maps, in the office of
the Registrar -Recorder of the Colnty of Los Angeles.
Part B
That portion of above-mentioned Lot 16 within the following described
boundaries: Beginning at the southeasterly corner of above described
Part A; thence westerly along the southerly line of said Part A a distance
of 2.50 feet; thence southeasterly in a direct line to a point in the
easterly line of said lot, southerly thereon 2.00 feet from the point of
beginning; thence northerly along said easterly line to the point of
beginning.
Part C
The southerly 12 feet of easterly 503 feet of Lot 17, Tract No. 2982, as
shown on map recorded in Book 35, page 31 of Maps, in the office of the
Registrar -Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
Part D
That portion of above mentioned Lot 17 within the following described
boundaries: Beginning at the northeasterly corner of above described
Part C; thence westerly along the northerly line of said Part A to the
beginning of a curve concave to the northwest, having a radius of 14.50
feet, tangent to said northerly line and tangent to a line parallel with
and 4.50 feet easterly, measured at right angles, from the easterly line
of said lot; thence northeasterly along said curve to said easterly line;
thence southerly thereon to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of Los Angeles.

do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of said City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution
No. 80-165 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said
City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held :on the
21st day of July,. 1980, and that the same was so passed and adopted
