RESOLUTION NO. 2000-55
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE REQUESTING THE NEVADA
COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ALLOCATE LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE TRUCKEE
TRANSIT & PARATRANSIT SYSTEM
WHEREAS, Transportation Development Act Funds are allocated to the Nevada County
Transportation Commission for the Town of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, The Town of Truckee has designed a system that will most effectively serve the
residents of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, these projects meet the requirements of the Regional Transportation Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Truckee requests the following;
1. Allocate $227,900 of Local Transportation Funds to the Town of Truckee Transit &
Paratransit 2000-2001 operations budget.
2. Allocate $19,100 of State Transit Assistance Funds to the Town of Truckee Transit
2000-2001 operations budget
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Truckee, held on October 5, 2000 by Councilmember Susman who moved its
adoption, which motion being duly seconded by Councilmember Florian was upon roll call
carried and the Resolution adopted by the following vote:
