A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
CANCELING THE WORK FOR CONSTRUCTING SIDEWALKS ON THE
WEST SIDE OF MAIN STREET FROM CARSON TO 220TH STREETS
PROJECT NO. 395 (HUD PROJECT)
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Carson did, pursuant
to order of the City Council on August 18, 1980, publicly call
for bids for doing work and improvement described in Resolution
No. 80-194 which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for
a description of said work and improvement and for all particulars
relative to proceedings; and
WHEREAS, due notice inviting bids and setting a date for the
opening of bids has been duly posted as prescribed by law and as
provided in Resolution No. 80-194; and
WHEREAS, the project for doing said work and making said
improvements no longer is contemplated by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Carson
hereby cancels the project for doing said work and making said
improvements along the west side of Main Street from Carson Street
to 220th Street - Project No. 395.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1980.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California,
do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of said City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution
No. 80-202 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said
City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on
the 2nd day of September, 1980, and that the same was so passed and adopt
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Colas, Egan & Mills
NOES; COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Smith & Bridgers
