A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON FIXING THE EMPLOYER'S CONTRIBUTION
UNDER THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' MEDICAL AND HOS-
PITAL CARE ACT
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 22825.6 provides that
a local agency contracting under the Public Employees' Medical
and Hospital Care Act shall fix the amount of the employer's
contribution at an amount not less than the amount required under
Section 22825 of the Act, and
WHEREAS, the City of Carson is a local agency contracting
under the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the employer's
contribution for each employee or annuitant shall be the amount
necessary to pay the cost of his enrollment, including the
enrollment of his family members, in a health benefits plan or
plans, to a maximum amount of one hundred thirty-nine dollars
and sixty-six cents ($139.66) per month.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson,
California, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of
the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing resolu-
tion, being Resolution No. 80-216, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at an adjourned regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 8th day of September,
1980, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following
vote:
