A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTING STREET IMPROVEMENTS
ON CLARION DRIVE, MONETA AVENUE TO 660 FEET WESTERLY
(PROJECT NO. 323.)
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Carson did, pursuant
to order of the City Council on October 6, 1980, publicly
receive, examine and.declare all sealed proposals or bids for
doing work and improvement described in Resolution No. 80-236
which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description
of Paid work and improvement and for all particulars relative to
proceedings; and
WHEREAS, due notice inviting bids and setting a date for the
opening of bids has been duly posted as prescribed by law and as
provided in ResolutionNo. 80-236; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson on the
28th day of October, 1980, did publicly receive, examine and declare
said proposals or bids as reported by the City Administrator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON AS FOLLOWS:
Section -l. Acceptance and Rejection of -Bids. That the City
Council of the City of Carson hereby awards the contract for doing
said work and making said improvements to the lowest responsible
bidder, to wit:
SULLY MILLER CONTRACTING COMPANY
at the price named inthe bid of said bidder on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City; and it does reject all other bids
or proposals, effective upon execution of the City contract by
said low bidder.
Section 2. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public
Works is hereby directed to prepare the contract and forward it
to the City Attorney for approval as to form and the Mayor is
hereby directed to enter into contract.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of November, 1980.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California,
do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said
City is four ; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 80-271 was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting
of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 17th day of November, 1980
and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
