RESOLUTION NO. 80-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY APPROVING PAYMENT BY THE CARSON
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR ALL OR PART OF
.THE COST OF THE CARSON COMMUNITY BUILDING
THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY HEREBY FINDS, DETER-
MINES, RESOLVES and ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. The Carson Community Building (that certain
public facility more particularly described.in Exhibit A, attached
hereto) will provide a facility available to serve certain educa-
tional, vocational, recreational and other needs of Redevelopment
Project Area No. 1, Redevelopment Project Area No. 2, the City of
Carson and the surrounding community, in that it will provide
meeting rooms, class rooms, recreational areas and other facili-
ties available to civic groups, community organizations, senior
citizens and other members of the public, including residents of
Redevelopment Project.Area No. 1 and Redevelopment Project Area
No. 2.In'addition thereto, the Carson Community Building will
help to 'attract other residential, commercial and public uses to
Redevelopment Project Area No. 1.
Section 2. The City of Carson has budgeted all of its
available funds for other projects or purposes and there are no
available state -or federal grants for construction of the Carson
Community Building.
Section 3. The Agency hereby finds and determines
that (i) the Carson Community Building and other improvements
related thereto are of benefit to Redevelopment Project Area No.
1 and Redevelopment Project Area No. 2 and (ii) no other reason-
able means of financing the Carson Community Building and other
improvements related thereto is available to the City.

Section 4. The Agency hereby approves the payment
of such sums as are necessary to pay -for all or part of the
cost of the installation and construction of the Carson Community
Building and other improvements related thereto from any funds
of the Agency\ available therefor.

1980.

do hereby certify that the whale number of members of the Agency of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 80-71, was duly and regularly
adopted by the Agency of said City at a regular meeting of said Agency, duly and
regularly held on the 28th day of July , 1980, and that the same was so
passed and adopted by the following vote:
