RESOLUTION NO. 8-2- 004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF PATES FOR
WILMINGTON CAB COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The rates set forth in the Certificate
of Public Convenience and Necessity of Wilmington Cab
Company doing business as United Checker .Cab Company, as
heretofore amended , are amended as follows :
A. Flag Drop:
An increase from one dollar twenty cents
( $1 . 20 ) for first one-tenth ( 1/10 ) mile or fractional
part thereof or thirty-six ( 36 ) seconds to one dollar
ninety cents ( $1 . 90 ) for the first one-fifth ( 1/5 ) mile
or fractional part thereof or one ( 1 ) minute and
twenty-four (24 ) seconds or fractional part thereof.
B. Mileage:
An increase from twenty cents ( $0 . 20 ) for each
additional two-tenths (2/10 ) mile to twenty cents
( $0 . 20 ) for each one-seventh ( 1/7 ) mile or fractional
part thereof.
C. Time :
An increase from twenty cents ( $0. 20 ) for each
one and one-fifth ( 1 1/5•) minutes of waiting time or
traffic delay ( ten dollars ( $10 ) pet hour) to twenty
cent's ( $0 . 20 ) for each one (1 ) -minute of waiting
time or. traffic delay or fractional part thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of
January 198 2.
