Home My Public Portal About82-026 RESOLUTION NO. 82-026 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN WILLIAMSON, MORRIS AND ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CON- STRUCTION OF A MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING, PARKING LOT AND MULTI-PURPOSE COURT AND APPURTENANCES AT CARSON PARK. WHEREAS, on September 2, 1980, the firm of Williamson, Morris and Associates was selected to prepare plans and specifications for the design and development of a new multi-purpose building, parking lot, multi-purpose court and appurtenances at Carson Park valued at $500,000.00; and WHEREAS, the scope of work for these improvements was increased and now it is in the best interests of the City to amend the original Architectual agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED SECTION 1 : That the proposed agreement between the City of Carson and the firm of Williamson, Morris and Associates be amended to reflect the approved changes. SECTION 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and endorse an amendment to the agreement approved as to form by the City Attorney. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular general municipal election, there shall be and are hereby established 62 voting precincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of Carson established for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. When required, the compensation of the Custodian of a building shall be $15 dollars for said election. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
