A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AUTHORIZING SELF INSURED STATUS FOR
WORKERS ' COMPENSATION LIABILITIES AND THE
NAMING OF THE INDIVIDUAL TO ACT FOR CITY IN
THIS REGARD.
WHEREAS , The State Department of Industrial Relations
require that public agencies submit an application for a Certi-
ficate of Consent to Self-Insure which provides information that
gives a public agency authorization to self-insure for workers '
compensation and names person(s) authorized to act for the City
in this regard, and
WHEREAS, The City of Carson is a public agency and
wishes to self-insure for workers ' compensation beginning
1 July 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED : That the City of
Carson become self-insured for workers ' compensation and that
Raymond L. Meador, City Administrator, is named to act for the
City in this regard.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City
is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 82-091 was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting
of said Council , duly and regularly held on the 7th day of June
19 82 and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
