A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A TEN
FOOT ALLEY WHICH RUNS PARALLEL TO AND IS LOCATED
BETWEEN LINCOLN STREET AND PACIFIC STREET FROM
PANAMA STREET TO FRIES AVENUE AND SETTING A TIME
AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY FINDS, RESOLVES
AND DETERMINES AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4 , Division
9 , Part '3ofthe Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
(Sec. 8300 , et seq. ) the City Council of the City of Carson hereby
declares its intention to order the vacation of the ten foot wide
alley which runs parallel to and is located between Lincoln Street
and Pacific Street from Panama Street to Fries Avenue .
Section 2 . Said alley proposed to be vacated is delineated
and shown on tre map on file and open to public inspection in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Carson designated as "Pro-
posed Abandonment of Alley north of Pacific Street and west of Fries
Avenue" ''as shown on Exhibit 1 attached hereto and described as follows :
That alley, 10 feet wide , in Block 7 , Factory Center, as
shown on map recorded in Book 23, pages 18 and 19 of Maps ,
in the office of the Registar-Recorder of the County of Los
Angeles , between Lincoln Street on the north, Pacific Street
on the south, easterly of Panama Street and westerly of Fries Avenue.
Section 3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed
vacation on October 25 , 1982 , at the hour of 6 : 30 p .m. at the Council
Chambers located at 701 East Carson Street, Carson, California, at
which time and place any and all persons interested in or objecting
to said 'proposed vacation may appear and be heard.
Section 4 . The City Clerk shall cause notice of hearing to be
publishe for-two� successive weeks prior to the hearing and shall cause
notice to be posted conspicuously about the line of the alley proposed
to be vacated at least two weeks before the date set for hearing . Such
notice shall be prepared and posted pursuant to the provisions of
Section 8323 of the Streets and Highways Code .
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of September , 1982 .

do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said
City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 82-149 was
duly and .regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting
of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 20th day of September, 1982, and
that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
