Ciiff Lee, Lyn Ciark, Ron Deip' Kirk Braun, Biii Wiiiiams, Mike Dorris and Arthur Schmidt 1) TIE -DOWNS AND T-HANGAR BILLINGS The Committee reviewed progress on the tie -down biiiing system and made additions and corrections- City staff wiii proceed to recover revenue from past due accounts and update aii biiiings for tie -downs and 1-Hangars. THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT THE CITY PERMIT MONTHLY TIE -DOWN RENTAL, THUS ALLOWING RENTAL BY THE MONTH, QUARTER, SIX -MONTHS OR ONE YEAR. THE COMMITTEE FURTHER RECOMMENDS THAT THE RATE REMAIN AT 115^00 PER MONTH' BUT THAT PERSONS PAYING FOR 6 MONTHS OR 1 YEAR BE PERMITTED A 10% DISCOUNT. This discount recognizes the time-vaiue of money and Lower biiiing costs for the Longer term payments,. 2) MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS The Committee discussed the foiiowing topics: a^ Possibie purchase of a second UNICOM Base radio to aiiow both FBOs to function as operators under the City's License; b^ The %uaiity of snow-piowinq effort that has been carried out at the airport; Co A request to have the biue diagonai taxiway entry Lights re- piaced with white Lights for the winter. The City Admin- istrator agreed to see that this was handied immediateiy/ d^ The decommissioning of the NDB at Haiiey suggested the possibiiity of an equipment transfer through FHA/ e^ Expioration of the County's surpius snow biower was requested/ f^ The preparation of a statement of goais and objectives for the year for the Airport; g, Training and/or certification of UNICOM radio operators was discussed. 3) Through the Fence Operations Poiicy The Committee asked to review federai guideiines and city ordinances regarding "through the fence" airport operations. Such operations shouid be Limited to pubiic agencies and simiiar private operations shouid be prohibited. 4) Review of Airport Ordinances The Committee requested that they receive copies of the City Ordinances deaiing with the Airport, to review and suggest recommendations for updating. 5> Radio-�ControiLed Airpianes The Committee advised that the operation of radio—controiied hobby airpianes presents a danger to fiying and parked aircraft and shouid be prohibited at the Airport. 6) Fueiing Poiicy The Airport Master Pian anticipates removai of the Pioneer Aviation fuei isiand and truck fueiing of aii aircraft- Ron Deip wiii draft a Letter, to be inciuded with the maiiing of these minutes, for review by the committee at the next meeting. 7) USFS Smokejumper Base The City reviewed the memorandum on the Smokejumper base dated 12/23/85, and concurred in the Coun(::ii's poiicy directions. 8) Next Meeting February 5,1986, 7:00 A.M. at the Pancake House
