HomeMy Public PortalAbout20150716SynopsisCity Council Synopsis 20150716 Mayor Buelterman called the workshop to order at 12:00PM on July 16, 2015. Those present were Paul Wolff, Monty Parks, Rob Callahan, Wanda Doyle, and Bill Garbett. Also attending were Bubba Hughes, City Attorney and Janet LeViner, Clerk of Council. Resolution: Referendum, Spending Taxpayer Money for a Public Swimming Pool. Paul Wolff made a motion to approve. Wanda Doyle seconded. Vote was unanimous, 5-0. Bubba Hughes: Approval of Jeff Arnold, Attorney, Ethics Commission. Rob Callahan made a motion to approve. Paul Wolff seconded. Vote was unanimous, 5-0. Barry Brown joined the meeting. Recycling: Survey Monkey and future Date to meet. Discussion was held and it was recommended that the survey would be sent, results tabulated and a meeting would be held on August 20, 2015 at 3:30PM for further discussion. Mayor Buelterman called for a short break. Diane Schleicher, City Manager; Angela Hudson, Finance Director; and Stephanie Hogan, Finance Department joined the meeting. Mayor Buelterman called the workshop back to order. SPLOST Projects. Discussion was held regarding upcoming projects. No action taken at this time. Capital. Discussion was held regarding upcoming projects. No action taken at this time. City Hall Renovation. Discussion was held regarding upcoming projects. No action taken at this time. Paul Wolff made a motion to adjourn. Rob Callahan seconded. Vote was unanimous, 6-0. Meeting adjourned at 2:45PM
