RFSOLU 'ION NO. 83-155
A RESOLU 'ION OF THE CITY OF CARSON AUIMRIZING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TORRANCE TO
NEGOTIATE WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO RECEIVE
JOB TRAINING PARTNERSHIP ACF FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR
1983-84.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY FINDS, ORDERS
AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Carson has previously
designated the City of Torrance as the lead administrative agency for the Carson,
Lomita, Torrance Consortium formed under the Job Training Partnership Act.
Section 2. The State of California requires the City Council
to adopt a formal resolution authorizing the administrative agency to receive
Job Training Partnership Act. funds from the State in order for the Carson, Lomita,
Torrance Consortium to receive such funds.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Carson hereby authorizes
the City of Torrance to negotiate with the State of California and to receive funds
for fiscal year 1983-84 under the Job Training Partnership Act on behalf of the
Carson, Lomita, Torrance Consortium.

of said Council , duly and regularly held on the 15th day of August, 1983, and that
the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
