A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
L.A. UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF
CARSON FOR THE USE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY FOR PARK
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles Unified School District will provide
to the City of Carson the use of certain School property for park purposes;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Carson finds the conditions set forth in
the Agreement are in the best interests of the City to accept;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the proposed Agreement between the City of Carson
and the Los Angeles Unified School District be approved;
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and director to execute the agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of September 1983.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 83-159 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 19th day of September, 1983, and that the
same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
