Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga.
December 12th, 1933.
A special meeting of Council was held to -day at 1 oo a.m.
and was attended by Mayor Lewis, who presided, and Councilmen
Demere,Blumenthal,.Logan and Cann and Town Attorney McIntyre.
The Finance Committee reported that it had made arrangements
with two of the local banks to borrow $ ?000.00 and on motion
that the Mayor be empowered to borrow :4000.00 from the
Liberty National Bank and Trust Co., which was seconded,the
motion passed;
RESOLUTION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the mayor and Councilmen of Savannah Beach,
Tybee Island, Ga., in meeting assembled, that, there now ex-
isting a casual deficiency in the milk revenues of said muni-
cipality, the said municipality do borrow from the Liberty
National bank and Trust Co., of Savannah, Ga., the sum of
Four Thousand (34000.00) Dollars, upon such terms and con-
ditions as shali,be agreed upon by the Mayor and said bank,
with the right in said municipality, upon the maturity of
said loan, to reduce the same from time to time until said
loan, together with the interest thereon, shall have been
completely discharged.
BE TT FURTHER 1 SOLVED that the sum so borrowed shall be
evidenced by the note of said municipality executed in its
name by the Mayor of &aid municipality, attested by its Clerk
of Council, and similarly all renewal notes shall be so executed.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the general funds of said muni-
cipalj there is hereby appropriated sums of money to pay
said /as the same becomes due and to make the necessary re-
ductions in said loan, in the event the said loan cannot be
paid in full.
On motion, duly seconded that the Mayor be empowered to
borrow 3000.00 from the Citizens Bank and Trust Co., the
following resolutions was passed;
RESOLUTION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Councilmen of Savannah Beach,
Tybee Island, Ga., in meeting assembled, that, there now
existing a casual deficiency in the revenues of said muni-
cipality, the Said municipality do borrow from the Citizens
Bank and Trust Co., of Savannah Ge., the sum of Three Thousand
Dollars (33000.00), upon such terms and conditions as shall
be agreed upon by the Mayor of said municipality and said
bank, with the right in said municipality, upon the maturity
of. said loan, to reduce tha name from time to time until
said loan, together with / fnterest thereon, shall have been
completely discharged.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum so borrowed shall be
evidenced by the note of said municipality executed in its
name by the Mayor of said municipality, attested by its

so executed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from the general funds of said

pay said loan as the same becomes due and to make the nec-
essary reductions in said loan, in the eveit the said loan
cannot be paid in full.
On motion duly seconded that the Mayor be authoriz d to
close the monthly bills due the Savannah 441ectric & Power.
Co., for electrical service rendered, with notes, the fol-
lbwing resolution was passed;
RESOLUTION.
BE IT =SOLVED BY the Mayor and Councilmen of Savannah Beach,
Tybee Island, Ga., in meeting assebled, that the monthly bills
for electrical current used by Savannah Beach,Tybee Island,Ga.,
due the Savannah Electric & Power Company, commencing with
the November 1933 bill, be closed by the giving of notes,
payable upon the 1st day of July, 1934, and that these notes
for the current furnished each month- from November 1933 up
to and including June 1934 shall be in the sums as represen-
ted by the respective balls rendered by said Savannah Electric
& Power Company for the current furnished.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That all notes shall mature upon the
let day of July, 1934, and shall at that time be paid in full.

The Clerk was instructed to issue executions against the
Tybrisa Company for non - payment of taxes and also the Tybee
Amusement Company for non - payment of 1933 licenses.
