A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CLASSES
IN THE COMPETITIVE SERVICE REPRESENTED BY THE
SUPERVISOR'S ASSOCIATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Director of Personnel is authorized and
directed, under provision of Section 2797.3 (d) of the Carson
Municipal Code to prepare and recommend, after consultation with
department directors , a compensation plan which becomes effective
upon approval by the City Council.
Section 2. The Personnel Rules, Rule XI, Section 1,
requires the city to meet and confer with any affected recog-
nized employee organization prior to adoption of the compen-
sation plan.
Section 3. The department directors have been consulted
and the city has met with the affected recognized employee organi-
zation.
Section 4. This resolution sets forth pay ranges and monthly
rates for full-time classes in the competitive service, represented
by the Supervisor's Association as follows:
Section 5. This resolution adopting a plan of
compensation shall take effect as of the 1st day of
January 1984.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 3rd day of
January 1984.

Section 5. This resolution adopting a plan of
