A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN, RESOLUTION 77-111.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:,,
Section 1. The Director of Personnel is authorized and directed
under the provision of Section 2793.3(d) of the Carson Municipal Code to
prepare and recommend, after consultation with department directors, class
specifications and amendments to the Classification Plan, which become
effective upon approval by the City Council
Section 2. Rule III, Section 1, of the City of Carson Personnel
Rules provides that modification to the classification plan shall be made only
after consultation with department directors and any affected recognized
employee organization.
Section 3. The Director of Personnel has consulted with the department
directors and met and consulted with the affected recognized employee organizations.
Section 4. The Classification Plan is hereby amended by adding
the class specification for Custodial Services Supervisor, attached as exhibit 1.
Section 5. The Classification Plan is further amended by revising
the class specification for Purchasing Manager, attached as exhibit 2, and adding
the class specification for Drafting Technician attached as exhibit 3.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 84-051 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at an adjourned regular meeting
of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 12th day of March, 1984, and that
the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
