Dear Mr. Centola,
I'm writing to you in favor of the turf at Victory Field.
We have three sons all of which have played or are still playing
sports- youth through high school here in Watertown. I will tell
you, having the turf field for the last 2 years has been great!!!
I am also in favor of adding another field inside the track.
With the long New England winter season, the grass fields are in
terrible condition. It is impossible for any of the spring sports to
practice on grass fields.
Having an additional turf field will also alleviate the log jam for
the many sports trying to practice in the spring all at the same
time.
