PLANS AND ,SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF 219TH
STREET IMPROVEMENT, WEST OF DOLORES STREET, AND
APPURTENA WORK, ORDERING THE WORK, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DESIGNATING A TIME AND PLACE FOR THE OPENING OF

Approval of Plans and Soecifieations. The plans

Ordering the Work. It is ordered that the work
osed to be done, hereinafter designated as Project
n, shall be performed as shown in said specifications.
Section 3. Adoption of Wage Scale. The Director of the
Department of Industrial Relations has heretofore determined the
prevailing rate and scale of wages in accordance with laws to be paid
in the construction of the above -entitled improvements. That said
rate and scale of wages is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
That said rate and scale is herein .referred to and adopted in this
notice as though fully and completely set forth herein, and that said
scale as adopted by said resolution is made a part of this 'notice by
Reference.
Section 4, Call for Bids. The City Clerk is hereby ordered
to post a Notice Inviting Sealed Bids for said project in at least
four public places 'n the City of Carson as designated by the Carson
Municipal Code. Sa'd Notice shall distinctly state the project to
be done and refer t the specifications on file.
Section 5. Receipt and Opening of Bids. The City Council
hereby fixes November 29, 1984 at the hour of 10:00 a.m. as: the day
and hour and the City Clerk's Office of the City Hall, Carson, as the
place of opening bids; and said time and place shall be shown in the
Notices. All bids shall be delivered to, opened, examined and declared
by the City Clerk at the City Hall, 701 E. Carson Street, Carson,
California, and shall be publicly opened.
The City Administrator shall report the results of such bidding to the
City Council at its next regular meeting after the opening of bids. No
proposal or bid shall be considered by the City Administrator or by
the City Council unless accompanied by a check or bid bond as required
by law and satisfactory to the City Council.
