RE: COMMITTEE MINUTES

Members in attendance were: Lyn Clark, Don Fitzwater, Cliff Lutes,
Kermit Peterson, Biii Williams and Ron Delp.
A Letter from the Astronaut's Gallery in Canada was read to the
committee^ The Letter reiuested that any piiot, club or other -
group donate old airplane artifacts to the gallery. No action
was taken by the committee,
Ron Deip reported that he had contacted Ralph Kangas regarding the
use of porta—hangers at the airport. The question of snow Load
being the main emphasis of the discussion. No response from Kangas
has been received at this time.
Committee members were informed that the grant preappiication has
has been filed with the F.A.A. The total amount is $929,750^00^
The City's share is $73000^00^ By being frugal and conscious of
priorities, and utilizing next year's budget, the City should be
able to finance the project.

Jim Smith informed the group that he and Raiph Kanqas wiii get in
touch of Eddie Cruzan and get started on the NDB^ The NDB was
budgeted for this year,.
A question regarding the City's responsibiiity and uitimate iiabiiity
to repiace or repair the eiectricai wiring in the Pioneer Aviation
hangar was discussed. What is the City's respons(biiity and are
they iiabie if something happens? A review of the Lease and
checking with the Attorney wiii be done.
The next meeting wiii be February 12, 1985' at 7:00 A.M. at the
Pancake House,
