November 24, 2015 5:00 P.M. Greencastle City Hall
I. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor Murray called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM; upon roll by Clerk -
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present: Adam Cohen, Jinsie
Bingham, Mark Hammer, and Tyler Wade. Phyllis Rokicki absent.
II. Special Requests- None
III. Public Hearing - Ascena Retail Group Tax Abatement- Motion by Adam
Cohen to close the public hearing, second Mark Hammer, 4 -0, motion carried.
No public comments were made.
IV. Old Business
A. Ordinance 2015 -10 — (Second Reading) An Ordinance Originally Amending
Ordinance 2014 -10, And Amending Ordinance 2015 -4 An Ordinance
Establishing the Size of the Departments of the City Government of the City
of Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries for the Employees of Such
Departments and Fixing the Salaries of Certain Other Appointed Officials
for the Year 2015- Motion was made by Adam Cohen to approve Ordinance
2015 -10 (second reading) as presented, second by Jinsie Bingham, 4 -0, motion
carried.
B. Ordinance 2015 -11 — (Second Reading) An Ordinance Originally Amending
Ordinance 2015 -8, An Ordinance Establishing the Size of the Departments
of the City Government of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries
for the Employees of Such Departments and Fixing the Salaries of Certain
Other Appointed Officials for the Year 2016- Motion was made by Mark
Hammer to approve Ordinance 2015 -11 (second reading) as presented, second
by Adam Cohen, 4 -0, motion carried.
V. New Business
A. Resolution 2015 -19 A Reaffirming Resolution 2012 -4 and Affirming an
Economic Revitalization Area and Recommend Tax Deduction For Ascena
Retail Group, Inc., and GC Fulfillment, LLC- Motion was made by Adam
Cohen to approve Resolution 2015 -19 as presented, second by Jinsie Bingham,
4 -0, motion
VI. Adjournment:
Motion by Jinsie Bingham to dismiss at 5:20 PM, second by Mark Hammer,
4 -0, motion carried.
