A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE STREET CLOSURE FOR PLATT AVENUE AND WAIVING
TOTAL CITY SUPPORT COSTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $514 FOR A BLOCK
WATCH CAPTAIN CHRISTMAS POSADA
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the Platt Avenue Block Watch
Captain to close portions of the street; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the closure is to . celebrate a Christmas
Posada.
NOW THEREFORE, THE .CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the waiver of City support costs in
the amount of $514.
Section 2. The City Council further find, per V.C. 21101 (e) that the
closure of the street on December 19, 2015 during the approved event time
necessary for the safety and protection of persons in attendance at the
Christmas Posada and hereby approves such street closure.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 24th day of November,
2015.
