RE: Meeting Minutes of November 20, 1984
Members present included: Lyn Clark, Bill Williams, Ron Delp, Don
Fitzwater, Cliff Lutes, and Jim Smith. Sandy Passmore was in atten-
dance as a guest.
The meeting was convened to go over the F.B.O. leases and calculate
the new lease rates.
Over the past five years, the Consumer Price Index has risen 46.29%.
To determine the new lease rate, each of the old rates were multiplied
by 1.4629. The following is the calculation:
Bare ground .036 x 1.4629=.053
Building & structure .050 x 1.4629=.073
.053 bare ground (New figure)
.073 building & structure (New figure)
The following is the mathematical calculations for each F.B.O.:
1. McCall Air Taxi
Total Area=275 x 275=75,625 sq. ft.
Hangar
Overhang leanto
Total Building & Structure
Total Bare Ground
= 11,520 sq. ft.
= 670 sq. ft.
= 12,190 sq. ft.
= 63,435 sq. ft.
12,190 sq. ft. x .073 = $ 889.87
63,435 sq. ft. x .053 = 3362.06
Total Annual Lease $4251.93
Two other items required in the new lease for McCall Air
included:
a. that a twenty (20) foot fire lane always be open
available from the northwest side of the present
station;
Taxi
and
fire
b. and that in order to facilitate safety, metal bumper guards
incased with concrete be installed around the propane tank
north of the fire station by May 31, 1985 or remove said
tank by the same date.
2. Pioneer Aviation.
(see computer printout)
3. Passmore Aviation
43,560 sq. ft. = 1 acre
43,560 x .25 = 10,890 sq. ft.
10,890 x .053 = $577.17 annual lease
•
The agreement with Passmore, due to their westside location, will
include:
a. when the U.S.F.S. westside installation is being constructed
and Passmore is requested to vacate their present location
that an alternate Airport location, agreeable with both
parties, Passmore Aviation and the Authority is found.
The new location should also have water facilities available
for use by Passmore Aviation
