A RESOIJJrlON~INGBIDSFOR
ETHRIDGE DRIVE POMPSTATION
WHEREAS, the Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough")
received a bid for the decommissioning of the Ethridge Street Pump
Station; and
kltl~, it has been determined that the amount of the bid exceeds the
Borough Engineer's estimate of the project by an amount in excess of
twenty (20%) percent; and
~, there have been additional unforeseen coraplications involving
the acquisition of the property, the timing of the project and the
expiration of the permits;
NOW, ~REBE IT RESOLV~Dby the Borough Council of Carteret that all
bids in connection with the Etheridge Street Pump Station Project are
rejected.
BE IT FURTHER~VI~) that the Borough Engineer is hereby directed to
prepare new specifications and the Purchasing Agent be authorized to
advertise for bids.
Adopted this 19th day of February, 1998
and certified as a true copy of the original
on February 20, 1998.
