A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF BONITA STREET NORTHERLY
OF CARSON STREET TO DESFORD STREET AND SETTING
A TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON.
The City Council of the City of Carson hereby finds,
determines and resolves as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter
4, Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California (Sec. 8300, et sea.) the
City Council of the City of Carson hereby declares its
intention to order the vacation of that certain portion
of Bonita Street which begins at its intersection with
Carson Street and runs northerly a distance of
approximately 500 feet to Desford Street.
Section 2. The street proposed to be vacated is
delineated and shown on the map on file and open to
public inspection in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Carson designated as "Proposed Vacation
of Bonita Street Northerly of Carson Street" and is
described as follows:
Those portions of Lots 2 and 3, Tract No. 4054 in the
City of Carson, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as shown on map recorded in Book 44, pages
39 to 41, inclusive, of Maps, in the office of the
Registrar Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, within
the following described boundaries:
Part A
The easterly 40 feet of above mentioned Lot 2, and the
westerly 40 feet of Lot 3, said tract.
Part B
That portion of above mentioned Lot 2 within the following
described boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of
the easterly 40 feet of said lot with the northerly
line of the southerly 20 feet of said lot; thence
northerly along said westerly line to the beginning
of a curve concave to the northwest, having a radius
of 27 feet, tangent to said westerly line and tangent
to said northerly line; thence southwesterly along said
curve to said northerly line; thence easterly thereon
to the point of beginning.
Part C
That portion of above mentioned Lot 3 within the following
described boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line
of the southerly 20 feet of said lot, with the easterly
line of the westerly 40 feet of said lot; thence northerly
along said easterly line 17.00 feet; thence southeasterly
in a direct line to a point in said northerly line,
easterly thereon 17.00 feet from said easterly line;
thence westerly along said northerly line 17.00 feet
to the point of beginning.

The City of Carson hereby reserves an easement for
pedestrian, water and fire purposes over said Parcels
A, B and C.
Section 3. A Public Hearing shall be held on such
proposed vacation on June 16, 1986, at the hour of 7:00
P.M. at the City Council Chambers at Carson City Hall,
701 East Carson Street, Carson, California, at which
time and place any and all persons interested in and
objecting to said proposed vacation may appear and be
heard.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 86-067 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 2nd day of June, 1986, and that the same was
so passed and adopted by the following vote:
