AN RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY FINDS,
RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. On June 10, 1986, the Planning Commission, following a duly
noticed public hearing at which evidence, both written and oral, was duly presented
to and considered by said Commission, recommended to the City Council that the Land
Use Element of the General Plan be amended to change the designation of those certain
real properties described in Exhibit A attached hereto from the "Heavy Industrial" and
"Low Density Residential" designations to "Light Industrial" Designation.
Section 2. On July 7, 1986, the City Council held a duly noticed public
hearing to consider whether to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan as
recommended by the Planning Commission. Evidence, both written and oral, was duly
presented to and considered by the Council at said hearing.
Section 3. A Negative Declaration has been prepared for that certain
property described in Exhibit A. The City Council has reviewed and considered the
Negative Declaration prepared for the proposed General Plan Amendment and the associ-
ated Zone Change Amendment prior to making its decision whether to amend the Plan.
The Council finds that the proposed amendment will not have a significant effect on
the environment as indicated in the Negative Declaration.
Section 4. The City Council concurs with the Planning Commission recom-
mendation and hereby orders that the Land Use Element of the General Plan be amended
as recommended by the Planning Commission.
Section S. The City Clerk shall endorse the Land Use Element of the
General Plan to show the approval by the Planning Commission and the adoption by
the City Council of the foregoing amendment.

five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 86-080 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 7th day of July, 1986, and that the same was
so passed and adopted by the following vote:

The northerly 90 feet of Lot 25
Lot 33, excepting the northerly 150 feet of the
westerly 330 feet of said lot.
Lots 34 and 35 -
That portion of Tract No. 6378 as shown on.kmap recorded in Book
68, Pages 1 and 2,. 2,. -of maps,- in the Office o`f the Registrar Re-
corder of., the County of Los Angeles described as follows:
Lots 22,23,26,27,28,29;30,31; and.32.
The southerly 540 feet of Lot 25.
The northerly 150 feet of the westerly 330 feet
of Lot 33.
That portion of Tract No. 3612 as shown on map recorded in Book
40, Pages 5 and 6, of maps, in the Office of the Registrar Re-
corder of the County of Los Angeles described as follows:
Beginning at the northerly corner of Lot 4, thence
southerly along -the easterly line a distance of
210.04 feet; thence westerly to a point on the
westerly line"of said lot, said point being a"
distance of 210.75 feet southerly from the
northerly line measured along said westerly line;
thence northerly to the northerly line of said lot;
thence easterly to the point of beginning.
