SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE
TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA
MEETING MINUTES
AUGUST 7, 2012
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Yu called the Successor Agency to the Temple City Community Redevelopment
Agency Regular Meeting to order at 8:35 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 5938
Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.

Member- Blum, Sternquist
Executive Director Pulido, Agency Secretary Kuo, Administrative
Services Director Hause, Parks & Recreation Director Burroughs, and
Community Development Director Masura.
Mr. Chavez made a motion to approve the Consent Calendar, seconded by Mr. Vizcarra and
unanimously carried.
A. AUTHORITY TO DISPENSE WITH THE FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS AND
ALLOW THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH VAVRINKE, TRINE, DAY & CO., LLP FOR A DUE DILIGENCE
REVIEW IN ACCORDANCE WITH AB 1484
In order to ensure the City can utilize the Redevelopment Bond proceeds for the
Rosemead Boulevard Enhancement Project, it is imperative the Successor Agency
complete a Due Diligence Review on the unencumbered low- and - moderate income
housing fund assets and all other assets, and receives a "finding of completion" from
the California Department of Finance. The City Council is requested to grant the City
Manager authority to dispense with the formal bidding process and negotiate a
professional services agreement with Vavrinke, Tine, Day & Co., LLP (VTD) for a
Due Diligence Review in accordance with Assembly Bill 1484.
Recommendation:
Grant Executive Director Pulido the authority
to dispense with the formal bidding process
and negotiate a professional services
agreement with Vavrinke, Tine, Day & Co.,
LLP.
B. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 12- 4844 -SA — APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF
BILLS
The Successor Agencyis requested to adopt Resolution No. 12- 4844 -SA authorizing
payment of bills.
Recommendation: adopt Resolution No. 12- 4844 -SA
