To Whom It May Concern,
Being an urban institution has challenges in regards to space for athletic facilities. Over the past
few years we have been very lucky to have built a relationship with the Department of Recreation in
Watertown. Emerson has been thrilled to have the opportunity to use both Victory Field and Victory
tennis courts.
Our baseball program has benefitted tremendously from being able to use the field in February.
Prior to this relationship, the team would never have been able to practice outside until they go to their
first game during their spring training trip. Having had the opportunity to get outside so much earlier
has been extremely beneficial. The proximity of Victory to Emerson and the ease of driving to this
location has also proved to be an asset. This has been a wonderful chance for us to build a relationship
with a local community that we wouldn't otherwise have.
We look forward to continuing this relationship in the years to come. Our teams recognize that
there is limited space in the City of Boston but have very much enjoyed being able to call Victory home.
