SUBJECT: PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS-MEETING OF
JULY 10,2013
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Public Safety Comm ission actions
from their Ju ly 10, 2013 meeting.
BACKGROUND:
On July 10, 2013, the Public Safety Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the July 10, 2013 Public Safety Commission
meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner-Clift, Haddad, Redmond, Vice Chairman Stratis,
Chairman Nimri
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner-None
2. REOGANIZATION OF COMMISSION
The Commission elected Commissioner Stratis as Chairman and Commissioner
Redmond as Vice Chairman.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Public Safety Commission approved the minutes of their June 26, 2013
meeting.
4. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Public Safety Commission held seven hearings in person, and upheld six
citations and dismissed one citation.
The Public Safety Commission reviewed two hearings requested by written
declaration, and upheld two citations.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have a fiscal impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
