A special meeting of Council was held to -day 4:30 p.m. in the Town Hall at Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Georgia, for the purpose of 4lettitkg a manager, ertthe ,elotibn. ®held :April 2nd, 1934, due to two of the managers appointed to serve being absent for providential causes. It was moved and seconded that Mrs. Pearl M.Bowen, be Appointed manager to serve in the election April 2nd, 1934. The motion passed. There being no further business Council adjourned aubjent to the c -11 of the yor. 4.1 erk of Counc . Mayor. Savanaah Beach, Tybee Island,Georgia. April 2nd, 1934. A regular meeting of Council was held to -day at x;30 p.m. in the Town Hall, Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Georgia, 'and Was attended by Mayor J.C.Lewis, who presided, and Councilmen Cann, Blumenthal,Sharpley, Logan and Righton, and Acting Town Attorney 0 ' Connor. It was moved and seconded that the report of/tkee managers named to conduct the election for a Mayor and Six Councilmen be adopted. The motion passed. We, the undersigned duly appointed managers of the election held at Savannah Beach'Tybee Island, Georgia, upon the 2nd day of April, 1934, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and Six Councilmen, do hereby certify tinder oath that the said election was held in the manner and at the time contained in the calling said election and that the laws of the State of Georgia and of Savanna Beach, Tybee Island, Georgia, were in all respects fully compliedwwith and that said election was faithfully and im- partially conducted and that the results of said election were as follows, to wit: - Total number of votes cast 24 " • for 0.E.Bright, Mayor 24 " Sam Blumenthal, Councilman 24 " J.Ferris Cann, " 24 " R.M.Demere, " 24 " W.G.Logan, " 24 H.Y.Righton, " - 24 " H.F.Sharpley " 24 We, therefore declare the result of said election to be as follows; For Mayor; 0.E.Bright For Councilmen; Sam Blumenthal J.Ferris Cann R.M.Demere " W.G.Logan H .
